The EPRC monitors the progress of the European Declaration openly and transparently and co-ordinates the joint work to achieve set targets.

The European paper and board industry is committed to reaching higher levels of paper recycling. The recycling targets of 66% by 2010, 70% by 2015, and 74% by 2019 have already been met, and a new target of 76% is now set for 2030.
